Our new "Girls" finally arrived today. After a slight mix up at the post office (they gave my 5 girls to someone else and tried to give me their 20 turkeys!!) they are home and doing well. They are so tiny and just so funny to watch. It seems difficult to believe that in a few short months they will lay eggs. But oh how yummy those eggs will be!!

Oh, Li... they're adorable. In high school biology class we hatched chicks. Most of them didn't survive but the last three that did needed a home and guess what soft hearted soul took them? (Much to my mother's chagrin!) Albert, Delbert, and Egg-bert! I still remember how they would sit on my shoulder under my hair and sleep ... did I ever get pooped on? I don't remember if I did. Ah, sweet memories!
