Shasta Update

For those of you interested in the Shasta I have made a collection of the photos on Flickr. It shows the progress from the beginning up until my last visit home. My new counter tops have been installed along with the stove and sink. I still have a bit more painting to do along with the outside paint(which will make one of the biggest impacts). It is so close though I can almost taste it..

*follow this link for my floor plan, mine is the one on the bottom.

Ack! Help. I can't find a link. I clicked on your "flick" box on the left and I just went to a flick homepage. So then I typed in Shasta and spent way too much time oohing and aahing over all the coooool trailers.

Lisa, It sure is coming along nicely. Love that aqua blue and dark wood floors. Did your Dad have to redo the wood walls?

Does your Shasta have a dining area, bed, frig, toilet? Our wee camper a 1972 Timberline 16 footer...it has a dining table that makes into a bed, a stove/oven, kitchen sink, toilet w/nonworking shower, a U-shaped sitting area that makes out into a double size bed and a bunk above it. It would have been a perfect size when our children we're young like yours. And it's perfect size for hubby, me, and puppy (the near future). For now, we still need a tent to sleep all of us. Will you all fit in your wee camper or will you need to use a tent too? It is so fun, you are going to LOVE LOVE love it!!!! I'm so excited for you. On our recent trip there was a wee yellow camper smaller than yours in the campsite. It was adorable.

Hi, just wanted drop by and see how things were going with your little cutie shasta. Love your color schemed, and can't wait to see how things come together...believe me, I know all about the waiting;D Just to let you know as well, that my husband did buy the paint at a PPG Automotive Paint store near our home..like a mile from our home...we lucked out. Got to talk to store manager about our choices and price wise wanting to do it on the cheap...he suggested the "Shop Line" which is the Store brand in about 20 different colors...lights to brights. I will have to look it up, but I think it ran us about 130 total with hardener and something called extender (keeps the paint from drying in the gun too fast...:0 I think) anyway, It was worth it, and it really looks great. Also, consider putting a trailer white roof coating, this will seal the roof vent and keep trailer a little cooler as well.
If you need anything else...let me know,:D I'd be more than happy to help. And , will be waiting for your "Big Day" to come. What a Nice family you have helping you discover your dreams! (Love your little farm too!)
Happiness and Hugs
Christine
