Friends I Have Made
Last week a nice little yellow package showed up in my mail box. It was from non other than Delena. Inside I found a fabulous RV cookbook and Camping Log book. Both will be treasured accessories in my Beach Bungalow(aka Trailer). It is incredible to think that some one from the other side of the US knows me enough to know I would love these items. Delena you are awesome thank you so much for your kindness.
So last week I went on a cleaning rampage of the TOY ROOM. Did you ever read that Berenstain Bears book The Messy Room? If not you really need to, you see I had a Mama Bear moment when I walked into that room and stepped on something for the last time. In one afternoon I got rid of enough toys/games/garbage to fill a 40 gallon garbage bag. Then the next day I went back through what I kept and got rid of more. Needless to say it takes about 5 minutes to clean up the toy room now. One of the boxes that I separated was some of my husbands old toys. I had put them in a Sterilite for him to put up in his shed. After a year of being carelessly thrown about the room they all of the sudden seemed like something fun to play with. Of course now that they were neat and tidy in a box. Well I told the boys that they were not to take a single toy out of the box to play with. So this is what I happened upon Sat morning:
I couldn't yell at him cause he listened to what I said. He didn't take a thing out to play with, instead he got in to play with it. Darn these kids learn fast.......

I love it! Seeing him in the box. My, what a well behaved boy you've raised!
You brought a smile to my face when I opened your page. Hope you enjoy your little booklets. :) We're going camping this weekend, so I'll use my little journal, too.
By the way, got the post card yesterday.
Wow, he took you quite literally ... and he looks just too darned cute in that storage box! I can just see him looking up at you so innocently with those baby blues!
TOO FUNNY!! I laughed when I saw him...at least he listened!! Isn't it funny how kids all of a sudden LOVE the things you are finally getting rid of? Imagine what it would be like if they only loved them enough to actually pick them up and put them away?!!
Oh my word! Lisa, that is probably one of the sweetest things I have ever seen. He's such a good boy.
