One of My Favorite Weekends

My sneaks got soaked showering the boys, so I had to resort to flip flops with socks.  Not so glamorous I know!

And of course my 3 favorite kids in the whole world.  And 2 dogs that are ok ;)  These are my constant companions and glamping buddies.  The Lord truly blessed me!!!

April Campout 2012

Just got back from camping with a few of my closest friends.  68 was the head count.  This picture is missing two of my three kids.  They went home a night early with their g-ma cause of a head cold.  More weekend pics to follow!

New Curtains

I finally found fabric for the curtains this morning.  I think they will do the trick.  So this afternoon, inbetween some house cleaning and camping menu writing, I will sew them up.  

Top is the curtain fabric.  Bottom is the new bedspread from SC collection at Target.

Subtle Changes

I have scrubbed the tar out of the outside of the camper.  I have scrubbed the tar out of the inside of the camper.  I have touched up paint.  I have made a few subtle changes.  I still have more to do but here is one project I did to spruce up the ugly pole that holds my table.

 I wrapped it with twine I bought from the $ tree.  One roll did it with some left over.  

I want my tiny camper to feel like a little beach getaway since we do live next to the ocean.

I also bought a new comforter for my bed.  Its from the target Shabby Chic collection.  It's shades of soft blue.  It goes nicely with my handful of pink touches inside the Lemondrop.

*just 2 days and a wake up til we head out to camp, not that I'm counting or anything ;)

Spring Break

We head back to this campground in a few days. I am pretty excited. For my anniversary my gift is having the Shasta emblem repainted on the Lemondrop. I am pumped to start camping again. I am also doing a mini makeover of a few things inside. Thanks to the humidity in the south I have some mold stains on my curtain that won't come clean, so I am getting new. I am also getting a different comforter/quilt cause I was never in love with the loud one I had initially bought.

A New Year Has Come Again

We have had an incredibly mild winter so far. I am not complaining in the least. My windows have been able to be open almost once a week. We have had a tiny belt of sickness hit us. Again I am not complaining. I am thankful to God for the fact that only one has been hit with the stomach bug. There are four of us walking around with this annoying tiny cold/cough.

Right before Christmas Tripp was in the ER with the croup. That little dude scared us to death. We deal with the croup seasonally around here so we knew what to do and when to finally go let the doctors intervene. He's been basically healthy since. Again another praise for God!

Report cards came out last week and my kids did great. Not that I expected any less. I am pretty blessed in the smart/witty kid department.

Things we are looking forward to:

okay so I repeated the camping one twice, but seriously I am excited to use my lil' lemon drop again. I know she has missed us ;)

(okay so these pictures were taken in the fall near my parents home in PA, but I felt like I needed some photos. These were before I really knew how to operate my new camera, oh the things I would change now, OH WELL!)
